COVID-19 Response

Like all of us, we’re closely monitoring coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, including evolving recommendations from local and national health authorities. The well-being of our clients and staff remain our primary concern, and we are making our best efforts to support those already impacted.

Please know that we are working diligently to meet your ongoing legal needs and to avoid service disruptions while maintaining the safety of our staff and the greater community. We appreciate your awareness and assistance as we all move through these uncharted times.

We are asking for your cooperation and understanding as we strive to serve your needs and at the same time limit the spread of the virus in our communities. Here’s how you can help us, help you:

New Clients who need to make a consultation:

Submit a request for consultation online through our Contact Us link.

Call 541-686-4890 to speak with our legal assistant (please be patient as we have been experiencing higher than normal call volume). If we don’t answer, please leave a voicemail with a good phone number and e-mail to follow up with you at.

We will be accepting pre-payments for all new consultations and the attorney handling your matter will contact you directly to schedule. In all cases where possible, we will be conducting consultations via the phone in an effort to limit personal contact.

Current Clients:

If you need to communicate with your attorney, please e-mail them directly. You may call our legal assistant if you need their e-mail. Our attorneys may be working remotely and e-mail will be the best method to reach them.

Payment for Services:

Whenever possible, we will be processing payments over the phone via a debit or credit card. Please contact our legal assistant between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to do so at 541-686-4890.

If you need to deliver payment in person (cash, check, money order, etc…), please use the mail slot in our front door. You may e-mail at access@accessthelaw.org to inform us that you have delivered payment. Once received and processed we will either e-mail or mail you a receipt.

At this time, no payments will be accepted in person. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you during these stressful times.

Walk-in consultations, scheduling, or payments:

In an effort to limit contact and practice appropriate social distancing, we will not be accepting any walk-ins. This restriction will apply to both current and new clients. Please contact us in advance of coming to the office.

Veterans Legal Clinic:

Our Veterans Legal Clinic will be conducted remotely.
